From January 1st 2021 to December 31st 2021, photographer Rory Langdon-Down met and photographed a different person every single day. Portrait A Day is the resulting book, which tells the narrative of this extraordinary year through the people that surround us each and every day.
The hardback book is limited to 365 signed and numbered copies and features all 365 portraits and 45,000 words in accompanying text.
Two portraits were shortlisted from the book for the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Humanity, with one being named as a winner of the prize.
